I am quite obsessed with Tanith Lee as she wrote my most beloved book in the entire world: The Silver-Metal Lover - a book I could not recommend more highly - most especially to women, as it's all about first love, and whether a robot can feel such an emotion ... the setting is beautifully depicted - a world after the comet has hit ... and the ideas in it are still relevant today (and will no doubt continue to be). And it's just a damn good book!
