Selecting correct book when several of the same title appear?

When you search for most books (e.g. The Kite Runner) several different copies of the same book or edition appear in the results. How do I know which one to select? Does it matter? or do they all link to the same reviews and same information?

Thanks

Hello,

When there are multiple copies of the book just select the jacket cover that you like the best. Currently the jackets belong to different book records.

A quick explanation: a book published in the US may be slightly different then a book published in Australia, the cover may differ and book identification numbers can be different.

We're in the process of reviewing ways of merging all book records into one while still allowing our community members to choose different covers and identification numbers.

For Booktagger eventually all duplicates will be merged into one master record. In the mean time choose the cover for you. Reviews are attached to each separate book, this is why we're motivated to merge them all into one master record.
