Hey everyone...I'm currently reading To Kill A Mocking Bird...I know I should have read that like...years ago...but that's just one of the classics I always wanted to read but somehow didn't...N'ways, I'm really enjoying it. There's no doubt it's a classic...The characters are so well sketched, complex yet simply portrayed..I mean, to create memorable fictional characters is one thing, but creating a fictional town that literally became immortal in the minds of the readers is darn impressive..
Anyone with their own reviews bout the book (sans spoilers ofcourse) are most welcome to share them...

Yes, a great novel. I read many books and forget many books but I have always remembered this one and often refer to it in general conversations somehow.

It's a superb book! I read a book recently that borrowed similar themes - and i loved it almost as much as I loved To Kill a Mockingbird - it's called 'Broken' by Daniel Clay ... and the main character's name is Skunk (not unlike Scout ;) ), she has an older brother, a lawyer father, her mother is long gone, but they have a nanny of sorts (seeing any similarities?) ... and lives in the kind of neighbourhood that might remind you of Macquarie Fields ... v good book.
