I have finished Twenty Chickens for a saddle and was glad to figure out the meaning of the title also.
What was your favourite bit???
I enjoyed all of the amazing stories but I think the bit I loved the best were the tales of the pets of various types. Especially the chameleon and their creative Gecko de-tailing to feed it. And Lulu's rescue attempts that appear throughout the book. Especially the last one in the restuarant!!!

I'm about half way through this book and I usually read only one book at a time. Though I'm finding this a very gentle book that is easy to read, so I've decided to leave it by my bedside and read a chapter every couple of nights or so.
Quite enjoying it.
