Hi Booktaggers,
I am Rebecca, the person mentioned in the About section of this website.
I have started building my bookshelf on Booktagger and hope it encourages me to read more. I LOVE books, but with an 18 month old don't have enough time and only managed eight last year. I read a large range of books. I read some science books, as I am a scientist, and have recently finished A Beginner's Guide to Winning a Nobel Prize by Peter Doherty and began A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson. I also read lots of autobiographies, I am a a John Grisham fan from way back, and you will occasionally see me with airport fiction for relaxation such as the Shopaholic series. Yes, a real variety.
Please visit the Booktagger blog where I will be writing every Monday. My first post is here. I also hope to start some Bookclubs soon.
Rebecca

First, thank you for responding to my post. It's so nice to be a member in this virtual community of readers.
I was wondering if you have ever come across On the Day You Were Born by Debra Frasier. It is a lovely book talking about the wonders of science while celebrating the birth of a child. It was given to me at my baby shower. Now, that baby is in middle school and learning about some of the systems introduced in this book.

I hadn't heard of the book, but love the recommendation. I have a little boy so it is quite appropriate.
