Hiya!
I'm a book designer in Sydney and I am really enjoying playing around with Booktagger.
I love the idea of it and look forward participating to thriving community of booktagger geeks.
Is any other BT member a book designer? I would love to start up a Book Club based on cover critic ^_^
I am a regular reader of The Book Design Review http://nytimesbooks.blogspot.com/ but it only features US and UK covers - Australian's are producing some mighty fine book design and I would be interested it hearing peoples thoughts.

Hi Astred,
Thank you for your kind words about Booktagger, we're really excited about how well it has been received.
I am really interested in design and usability, they go hand in hand with web development. So, I'd be interested in a book club on cover designs.
Currently Booktagger obtains a lot of cover designs from the US (as you've probably noted). In the near future we plan on importing all Australian covers as well, although we already have a few.
On a side note: do work freelance? I've already been approached by several potential authors about ebooks, they'd still need a cover :)
Cheers,
Jeremy

Yes I've noticed I lot of the books I have designed have the US covers instead the Australian covers on booktagger. I was sad.
But I am glad you're planning on incorporating Australian covers. yay!
The Book Design Awards are in May, during Sydney Writer's Week. Can't wait to see who wins book of the year.
